Chamber Supports Sign For Montego Bay
The Montego Bay Chamber of Commerce has seen a report in the Gleaner on-line today November 22, 2018 headlined, “Mobay Chamber supports $17 million welcome sign for tourism capital’.
We recognise the headline could lead to a misinterpretation of the communication from the President, Winston Lawson and the position of the Chamber. As such, for absolute clarity, the Chamber supports the standard of the product and its usefulness in enhancing the space, however concur with the concern of the budgeted cost and thereby again urge the authorities to ensure it is implemented in an efficient manner and most cost effective way.
